• Step 1: Place the Unwind MD Appliance – Ensure the Unwind MD appliance is clean and ready for customization before intraoral placement.
• Step 2: Position the DT Aligner – Seat the DT Aligner onto the anterior deprogrammer to orient the disoccluding table parallel to the maxillary occlusal plane.
• Step 3: Verify Alignment – Visually confirm that the disoccluding table is correctly aligned with the patient’s maxillary occlusal plane.
• Step 4: Customize the Unwind MD – Apply self-cure acrylic or bite registration material to the fitting surface and seat the appliance onto the maxillary incisors for proper adaptation.
• Step 5: Final Alignment and Bite Registration – Position the DT Aligner and instruct the patient to bite gently onto the disoccluding table while the material sets.
• Step 6: Finish the Appliance – Remove the appliance, trim excess material, and polish for patient comfort and optimal function.
